Cardio Moving
Cardio Moving is a Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation Program, with a minimum duration of 3 months.
During the program, the patient integrates a wide range of activities based on educational sessions and strategies for the promotion of physical exercise, so that the best means can be found to achieve the end of health education, behavior changes and increased longevity with quality of life.
The program includes:
– Individual and group educational sessions, which contemplate a personalized education in view of the responsibility of the pharmacological treatment and the use of Emotional management techniques with a view to strengthening the notion of health education, risk factor management, internalization of the benefits of physical exercise, healthy diet and individual and family psychological counseling. These sessions will be held on a monthly basis.
– Physical exercise sessions to be performed with an average weekly frequency of 2 times, with 1 hour duration. These sessions aim at the development of motor skills such as resistance, strength and flexibility, promoted either by the use of machines (conveyor belt, cycloergometer, arm ergometer, elastic bands, weights, etc.), as they will be reinforced in group activities inside or outside the facilities. Dance/biodanza, pilates and yoga/meditation sessions will also be included in the program.
The user will be accompanied throughout the process by a team specialized in the area, as well as there will be an exchange of information with the attending physician.

- Peripheral arterial disease
- Angina
- Cardiomyopathy
Eligibility for the program will be defined with the attending physician, after scrupulous analysis of the report and evaluation of the user.
